This seminar is part of International Open Access Week, a global event, bringing greater awareness of open access publishing and sharing best practice in the discovery of open access research.

Keynote Speaker: Dr. Gabriel Fitzpatrick.
Gabriel is a Public Health Specialist based at Dr. Steevens’ Hospital. He is the Chair of Medicins Sans Frontiers Ireland and volunteered during the Ebola outbreak in Sierra Leone. His interests include infectious diseases and global health.
Aim of the conference: to raise awareness of research in health that takes place outside of the academic sector, fostering collaboration between the academic and broader health sector and profiling library services as a facilitator of research.
